[A little buzz came across the techno-jewelry linking Ban to the network the moment he 'woke up' in his bunk. Hathaway's new castle was repurposed from ALASTAIR's old digs but very little of it was actually updated to fit the technology within. So, Ban was reminded of the same dusty smell of linens each and every time he arrived--always forgetting to wash them the moment he got there.
Instead of actually doing any chores, he went straight to the kitchen for the drink and to check the bounty board. It was weird, forgetting the place every time he went home only to have every bit of it come back the second he woke up in that bed but it didn't bother him. He liked running missions with a few of the kids there--at least the ones who got along with him.
Staring at the bounty-board by the kitchen, Ban adjusted his eyes to read the digital font that kept moving back and forth on it. Someone said it was 'bugged' but he couldn't figure out why creepy-crawlies could make the lights dance the wrong way. Yanking the cork out of a bottle of wine with his teeth, Ban complained--muffled.]
Can't read it. If they want us to volunteer so bad, shouldn't they just fix this damned thing~?
